Experience Tarangire national park:
We recommend 2 days in the park due to its size and diversity. This can be planned at the starts or towards the end of your northern circuit safari itinerary. It is also possible to arrange a day tour from Arusha. Contact our experts on how you can include Tarangire National Park in your itinerary.
There are different vegetation zones ranging from the wide-open plains acacia woodland, baobab trees and riverine grassland and rocky hilltops giving a true wild sensational.
Tarangire is one of the finest places in Tanzania to watch big herds of elephant spending most of their time often from a vantage point at a waterhole or swamp drinking and wallowing. Other wildlife are; buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, oryx, eland, kudus, impala, gazelle, warthog, baboon, vervet monkey, lion, leopard and cheetah.

It is about 2.5 hours [120km] drive from Arusha.
