Day By Day Itenerary
DAY 1: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast depart with your lunch boxes towards Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s third largest park. Enjoy your game drive around Tarangire River which runs through the park and attracting an abundance of wildlife, from elephants, lions, leopard, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and numerous antelopes, also different varieties of colorful birds. Viewing is especially good during the dry season when large numbers of animals gather for the water from the river and swamps.

DAY 2: TARANGIRE – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Enjoy your breakfast at the lodge and then start the journey towards endless plains of Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area. With its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see, game drive en-route from the southern to Central Serengeti known as Seronera area one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park.

DAY 3: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After your leisurely breakfast, it’s now time to explore Serengeti for a full day game drive with your skilled private guide. The central Serengeti offers fantastic game viewing all year round due to its abundance of resident animals. Specifically the Seronera River Valley is a ’must see̕ on every safari regardless of the specific time of a year. Game viewing in Central Serengeti is at its best during the dry season as resident animals are more concentrated in the permanent water holes due to the lack of water on the plains.

DAY 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Another beautiful day in Serengeti starts after an early morning breakfast, followed by morning game drive from central to the east of Serengeti searching for big cats and their actions before it gets hot. Then drive back to your lodge for hot lunch and afternoon rest before heading out again for another sunset game drive in the Central or Eastern Serengeti with your private guide.

DAY 5: SERENGETI – NGORONGORO CRATER

Enjoy your early morning breakfast at your lodge then set out for Ngorongoro Crater (3 Hour drive). Often called the eighth natural wonder of the world and the largest intact caldera in the world. With its 600m deep and 19.5km wide, Ngorongoro Crater is filled with great areas of acacia forest, swamps and grasslands. These different habitats contain over 25,000 animals – including elephants, buffaloes, hippos, the rare black rhino, and all the big predators. Magnificent birdlife and thousands of Flamingos on the crater’s Lake Magadi. Enjoy your packed lunch at Hippo pool picnic site and late afternoon drive to Lions Paw Lodge.

DAY 6: NGORONGORO WALKING SAFARIS – ARUSHA

Depart after your leisurely breakfast, then drive to Ngorongoro Endoro elephant cave and waterfalls for the nature hike safari. After spending most of your time in a vehicle during game drives, precisely you need to stretch your legs and see so much of flora and fauna can offer, experiencing wildlife at eye level gives you a greater perspective and understanding the true beauty of nature. The distance and route can be discussed with your armed ranger who will tailor the walk to your preference.
